International Student Recruitment Manager required by college in Reading
Eurospeak is an international college accredited by ASIC and recognized by the UK Border Agency with a Tier 4 sponsors license. Founded in 1992 as a school of English as a foreign language, the college is undertaking major expansion and aims to become one of the leading private colleges in the UK. The college is accredited by ABP to run business courses and by CTH awards to run courses in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
As part of this expansion an International Student Recruitment Manager is required to ensure continuous enrolment of overseas students at Eurospeak college.
The role will be to:
- Recruit international students
- Manage existing and appoint new agents
- Develop new international collaborations for the college
- Undertaking overseas visits to promote the college
- Contribute to the production of marketing materials and electronic media to promote the college
Essential Skills:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, electronic mail and web browsers
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including the ability to make effective presentations and report writing
- Ability to take responsibility and assist with the development of strategic plans, think creatively and research markets. Proven experience of securing successful outcomes
- Understanding of social political and economic trends affecting the sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and knowledge of different cultural practices.
- Ability to represent Eurospeak College at public events
- Ability to work independently, organise systematic administrative systems, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Desirable Skills:
- A second language
- Experience in working in higher education and admissions / recruitment environment
- Relevant experience including knowledge of recruitment processes, marketing and promotion and sales skills
- Ability to undertake travel overseas and an aptitude for a pattern of work that may require some overseas and UK travel each year as well as occasionally working unsociable and long hours
Salary: £18,000 - £25,000
